Birth; August 22, 1972 / Sign; Leo Marliece Andrada was born 22 August 1972, in Manteca, California. Marliece (her first name is Swedish, family name, Portuguese) graduated from California State University, and headed to the City of Angels to try her hand at acting. Before getting right into acting, Marliece started out by flaunting her body and appeal as a cheerleader for the NFL's Oakland Raiders. While a Raiderette during the 1995-96 season, the baton twirling beauty was named "Catalina Tropic Babe" and "Most Photogenic Member". More importantly, Hugh Hefner saw how photogenic she was, and featured her in Playboy, as March 1998's Playmate of the Month. Marliece was then featured in the Playboy Video Playmate Calendar in 1998. Of course, her acting skills were not showcased in the bunny mag, nor in the commercial she did for Bally's. Marliece made her acting debut in Arli$$, an HBO series. Originally hired as an extra, the aspiring actress was promoted to a speaking role. In 1997, Marliece made a guest appearance as Mellisande in an episode of Baywatch, but finally had her chance to run on the beaches in the phenomenally popular syndicated series. Joining the ranks of other model/actresses such as Donna D'Errico, Carmen Electra, Gena Lee Nolin, and of course, Pamela Anderson, Marliece was given the chance to don the red bathing suit. Marliece made waves as nature girl and rookie lifeguard, Skylar Bergman, in the 1997-1998 season of the show. Ready to move on to other projects, she worked on her own video game, GEX Deep Cover, in 1998-1999, where she starred as Agent Xtra. Fascinated with the genre and audience that video games offer, Marliece considers doing a follow-up. As for acting, Marliece appeared in the 1999 comedy, Love Stinks, which starred Tyra Banks and Bridgette Wilson. A strict vegetarian, Marliece enjoys rollerblading, biking and cooking at her home in Los Angeles. Listing Kim Basinger and Goldie Hawn as the actresses she most admires, Marliece is looking to work on more films in the future.
